Anežka Hubatková - a Couple

In A Couple, Hubátková explores the delicate balance between togetherness and distance. Two figures, clad in vibrant red, merge into the warm ochre background as if their emotions bleed into the very ground they stand on. Their hands meet at the center of the composition, a gesture both intimate and tentative. Faces are gently blurred, suggesting fleeting glances and unspoken thoughts. With each soft brushstroke, the painting becomes a quiet testament to the way we bind ourselves to another—tender yet fraught, inseparable yet striving for space.
