Lucie Hošková - Dunící Kov II (Resounding Metal II)

This work stages the body’s inevitable return to matter. The canvas, buried underground for two months and later exhumed, carries the marks of decay, soil, and time. Installed on a corroded metal frame, it evokes the cycle of incarnation and disintegration a body thrown into the material world, destined to vanish. The work does not simply depict decomposition, but enacts it, allowing the earth itself to inscribe the surface.
