We are delighted to present another exhibition at HIDDEN UMPRUM, featuring student of Academy of Arts, Natálie Pejchová.

Calculation, the path to success, cruelty, faith, broken hearts, and clinging to artifacts—all these aspects intertwine with beauty and glitter. Three winning lottery tickets, an embrace, and a church in a rainbow—six things, six motifs, six stories.

Natálie Pejchová, a graduate of the Painting 2 studio at AVU, has recently focused primarily on painting and textile objects, including gemstone-adorned embroidery. Her inspiration stems from social issues, urban legends, pop culture, and literature. By distilling these motifs, she creates unique paintings that reflect the globalized reality of the city. She explores the relationships between what is seen, what is conscious, and what is half-dreamed.
