Gallery Life #04 – Studio Visit with Anna Krištofíková & Preview of Her Upcoming Show

June 11, 2025 – Prague

In this episode, I visit Anna Krištofíková at her home studio — since AVU is closed during diploma installations, she moved her painting process outside, into the garden.

We’re preparing for her upcoming solo show at HIDDEN Bořivojova, opening June 24 at 6 PM. Right now, three finished works are already in the gallery (and sold), and Anna has completed five in total — two still in progress, and at least two more on the way before the show opens. I came by to photograph the new paintings for collectors who already showed interest before the exhibition even starts. We also sat down to write the exhibition text, which helped clarify the core of her concept. And as it often happens — the idea for a video invitation came up over a beer. We’ll shoot that on Sunday.
